CodeBid (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a business-to-business tendering platform that connects buyers who need commercial contracts fulfilled with suppliers who provide those services. CodeBid is operated from the Republic of Ireland.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CodeBid platform, including all pages, features, and functionality available at our website and any future applications. By registering for an account you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
CodeBid is a business-to-business platform exclusively. Access is restricted to organisations and individuals acting in a commercial capacity on behalf of a registered business. You represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to terminate any account we determine is consumer-facing or otherwise ineligible without prior notice.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Each account is tied to a single user. Sharing login credentials across multiple individuals is not permitted.
If you register as a Buyer and post tenders on the platform, you agree to:
If you register as a Supplier and submit bids on the platform, you agree to:
All bids submitted on CodeBid are strictly confidential. The full contents of any bid — including the amount, proposal document, and any messages — are visible only to the buyer who posted the relevant tender. Other suppliers on the platform cannot see competing bids. Only the total count of bids received is visible to other suppliers as a general market signal.
Buyers must treat bid contents as confidential and must not share bid details with third parties without the express written consent of the submitting supplier.
You retain ownership of any documents you upload to CodeBid (tender specifications, proposal PDFs). By uploading, you grant CodeBid a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and make those documents available to the authorised parties under these Terms (buyers viewing their received bids, suppliers downloading tender documents).
You must not upload documents that contain unlawful content, infringe third-party intellectual property, or contain malware or malicious code.
Access to CodeBid is currently provided without charge during our launch period. We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees or other charges in the future. We will provide not less than 30 days’ notice before any paid tier is introduced, and existing users will have the option to opt out before fees apply.
You must not use CodeBid to:
All platform software, design, branding, and content produced by CodeBid are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without our prior written consent. The CodeBid name, logo, and mark are our trademarks.
CodeBid acts solely as a platform to connect buyers and suppliers. We are not a party to any contract formed between a buyer and a supplier as a result of a successful tender. We make no representations or warranties as to the quality, legality, or suitability of any tender or bid posted on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeBid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of contract opportunity.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, or for any other legitimate business reason. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the platform and any stored data will be removed in accordance with our data retention policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via the platform's notification system or email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from your use of CodeBid shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
